The Terrible Teddy Bear Tiff

Teddy One
and Teddy Two
had a tiff.
Teddy One
hit Teddy Two
And Teddy Two,
he threw his shoe,
even though his shoe was new,
but neither Teddy yet was through!
Teddy One said
You’re just fat!
and Two replied,
You dirty rat!
and after that…
Teddy One
and Teddy Two
were sent to bed
for being rude.
And that was the end
of the Teddy Bear Tiff
but
Teddy Two
says it’s up to you
to replace that shoe
that he threw…
He says it’s your fault,
which is almost true,
because Teddy and Teddy…
they fought over you!

Leap of Faith

The cow jumped over the shining moon
And the Man in the Moon said ‘hi’
And he winked to see her sailing past
With a gleam in his silver eye.

The sky was eerily lit that night;
A cow-shaped cloud went by.
A frowning farmer shook his head
To think that cows could fly.

But up in the sky with his twinkling eye
The Man in the Moon looked down
And he laughed a silver, silent laugh,
To see that farmer frown.

In My World

I live in a room, in a neat little house,
In a world that is all my own.
And nobody lives in my world with me,
And I think that I like it so.

It isn’t much, but it feels like home,
And it’s built the way I like,
And it’s quiet here, for it’s only me,
And of course that feels just right.

So I do what I want in my own little world,
For I know that it’s built for me.
And I hide behind my quiet walls
That nobody else can see.
